If you're looking for Persian kabob for your event, we like to bring our custom grills to you in order to make sure your guests are getting the highest quality food freshly made. Our Story

Sina & Lindsey Shakerian

The first time Lindsey and I went to the SLO farmers Market was back in 2009. We were classmates at Cal Poly studying Structural Engineering. I really didn’t know what to expect and was surprised by how busy it was. I told her that this would be the most amazing place to set up a grill and sell Persian kabob. It was on that day that I told her if there still wasn’t a Persian spot there in 10 years I would be the one doing it. This was only the first of many times my future wife would tell me that I was crazy. Well nearly 10 years later, we started Shekamoo Grill and it’s been an incredible journey. We have been so blessed to share our love of food all over SLO county.

Shekamoo Grill finally has our first brick and mortar at at the brand new SLO Ranch Farms and Marketplace. You’ll find us there offering the best locally crafted food, drinks, and desserts.

We continue serving our flame grilled kabobs at the SLO Farmer’s Market on Thursday nights and we’re always here for your catering needs.

In the name of food

The Farsi word “Shekamoo” roughly translates to “foodie.” Food connects us all and we hope to share the joy it brings us with our community. That is why we started Shekamoo Grill—to bring together friends, families, and the community we love. The food we prepare offers more than a tasty bite—it’s an experience that draws people in with the flame-grilled Persian kabob being prepared fresh onsite.
